I'm shooting for AU 55 but guessing it's more an AU 53. Not sure. Also not sure if the die rotation of the reverse would make for a higher premium. Any thoughts on a value as well? I am hoping I paid a fair price. Please disregard the coppery color splotches on the eagle pic. It came from the upload through the optimizer. Its not on the actual coin. Thanks All.

Last picture makes it look like there's light verdigris.

XF details?

Not enough detail left to be in the AU range. You're missing a lot of feathers.

There is no verdigris. The last pic was shot through glare and in a 2x2. I was just trying to show the die rotation in that pic.

From the pictures there does appear to be a fair amount of wear on feathers and on the chest. I'd say a VF 25, but the pictures may not do it justice.

There's not near enough detail left for an AU coin , I really don't think it's even EF..
As far as detail goes the reverse does look about ef40 but the obverse is VF 30-35 ...
So I'm going to say it's a solid VF 35 coin , the reverse makes the grade for me ...

Yup vf35 for me as well. Definitely not enough detail on the obverse wings left in order to come close to AU. Sorry.

Thanks everyone for the comments. My skills for grading are nil. I was just using the PCGS photograding app for reference. I noticed a couple of you mentioned details. Do you all feel this is a details(cleaned) coin?

To be honest I'm not sure if it's a cleaned coin or not !!
The first two photos do make it appear cleaned but then in the last photo it seems to have a more natural color ...
So I'm not sure if it's the lighting Or what !!
Do you have any other photos ?

Not at the moment. I can try to put something together soon. Maybe with a more natural lighting.
