Hey everybody, CoinWeek's Charles Morgan here. I just got back from Baltimore and the Whitman Expo and I am excited to share with you the first Cool Coins! video I ever produced - and the first one we've shot in 4K. I think the ability that we have now to focus in on coins is amazing - but I want your feedback. If you have a minute or two, take a look at the program - it's only five minutes long - and let me know what you'd like to see us do to make this video series more informative and interesting. Do keep in mind, videos like this are shot on the fly and dealers are not professional actors - but other than that... I'm all ears. http://www.coinweek.com/video-news/...5-video-515/

I watched the video a few minutes ago when I saw it was on YouTube ... AWESOME detail! Looks phenomenal in 4K! Keep up the good work, as Cool Coins! is one of my favorite series you guys make!

Looked really good - the quality was excellent, especially showing the items. There was a really nice selection of pieces too. That gold stater was awesome.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm taking over the video division and making changes. I'm hoping they are good changes and they make for a better product.
I agree that Stater was awesome.
I had some footage that was left on the cutting room floor- including a really amazing 1892 Morgan proof.

The video quality was awesome! I would however show more of the coins themselves and less of the people. Voice-overs while panning the coins are much more interesting than watching a dealer talk about a coin and not being able to see it.
Perhaps a split screen would keep the peace with your people and let the viewer see what he is talking about at the same time.

Very nice video. my only suggestion is to see if you can reduce the background noise ( the crowd at the show). I am older so maybe its my ears lol. other than that quite informative and good quality.

Sharp images of coins are what all collectors want, good job! The 1806 half would look nice in my 7070!

All good suggestions. For those who want to see the coins longer. I hear you. I will try to get the presenters to slow down.
The next show I will attend is the FUN Show in January. If anybody has a cool coin they'd like to talk about, PM me so that we can set up a meeting.

Stunning quality and detail! I agree with the sentiment of more time on the coins. Also perhaps the presenters could wear white cotton gloves so as to not draw attention away from the coins they're holding.
Great stuff!

Great Video. I agree with RK55 concerning the background noise, perhaps look into an noise cancelling mic. Was interesting hearing them talk about the lineage of the coins. Was surprised that the Patek Philppe medal was estimated at an $400.00 value. With 25 struck, (and how many are accounted for?) I would have thought it was under valued. Congrats on your new position, I hope it is an rewarding experience for you. Take Care.
