Looking at this "dateless" coin in ebay and to me it looks like 1917. Will be able to get a really good deal on it if that's what it is. Does anyone else agree with my suspicions?

I honestly can't tell from that picture but even if it is a part date 1917 it's only worth a few cents over face value.

It has a mintmark on the back so if it's a visible 17 partial date then it has some value to it.

I actually do see the 17 in it as well.

Also, my $64 dollar buffalo set is coming along well. 22 coins for $4.20 so far. I'm trying to copy you!

Looks like it could be a 1917...

I was GOING to do a 64 for $64... But then I stumbled across $50, bought a nice 7112, and saw a nice 1921 S and 1931 S listed for sale, and I just couldn't resist!

I actually have 66 coins I'm filling. There were mintages for 66 anyways. So I guess I'm doing 66 for $66. Really happy with my progress!

You know, I'll have to admit that I do like buying the smallish lots of dateless buffalos at my LCS, some still have dates visible under the right lighting conditions. It's another fun past time!

Duncan there are only 64 dates/mintmarks. Anything else would probably be a variety like the 3-legger which you will never in a million years get in the price range for this project.
