Terrible pics to begin with, not surprising.

Obvious mint worker done. Impossible.

Why would NGC even grade that, knowing that it was down purposeful, and not an "error" at all?

Same goes with this one..purposeful.

Mike sure has one heck of a collection of errors..

Looks like someone is heating up a old coin, not with flame and pounding it sandwiched between two coins. You would think the mint press would smash and thin these out more.

Check out the examples listed here: http://www.lincolncentsonline.com/D...ination.html
They are quite collectable. If I was going to question a mint error, the Lincoln cents struck on nails would top my list!

NGC is in the business of taking money for their service that's why. Plus, for special labels like this one they charge extra ha ha.

Yep its all about the money . We already discovered that one. But Mike or whoever he is has a friend in the mint and is making money with them. You would think the treasury or someone would take interest and find who is doing this because it's obviously not happening by accident.

Just about every country that operates a mint has these freakish errors. They do not make sense and it is unfathomable how they did occur without a "helping hand".

However, since there is no proof that a "helping hand" produced these error coins, they must be considered as legitimate error coins.

Case in point: the mule die clashes involving the 1857 Flying Eagle cent with an 1857 Seated Liberty quarter, half and Liberty double eagle. For a long while it was thought that the nightwatchman had more than a helping hand with these mule die clashes. Chris Pilliod found the answer to that mystery and attributed these die clashes as happening between the changing of dies in the coin press.

Like they say, if you have to ask, you cannot afford it.

For what it is worth, a quick forum search will tell anyone what they need to know.
