On plated Lincoln cents, sometimes the surface is rough and distorted. I think you are seeing the bunny in the cloud thing, like when you see clouds floating across the sky and your mind pretends to see shapes of things.
It does appear to be a very slight misaligned die (MAD).

That could be. Perhaps we are seeing distortions from a clash/counter clash?

More like coin damage to the cheek of Abe. The raised area would be on the steps to the left of the right planter. PSD
