I think, the people who can view it, can see the box, and the amount of the slots.
Based on the pic on RFD, there is no large box. It's an individual box for each coin and what I would call a loose series. That is, they can end it after one or milk it for as long as they want. I'm also frustrated by this new MC status thing. Sadly the coins I might buy are the more exclusive ones like this new voyageur. But I'm not going to buy a bunch of stuff I don't want just to maintain a $5k/year spend with the Mint. Given that I have spent literally 10s of thousands buying coins over the years, this new marketing strategy by the Mint is insulting. Oh well. /end rant

Quote: Nevermind what I said, the coin is up on the Mint's website for all MC members. The so-called Advance Notice is only a few hours advanced I am a platinum plus member and I don't see it on the website. Nor did I get any email from my rep. Advanced emails are staggered according to your spending levels and people who spend a lot of money, ie. $5000+, or Platinum Plus, gets first crack at new coins. For this reason, the colored 5 oz coins were at "waiting list" stage by the time I got the email from my rep. So it is no guarantee that I can order this coin if there are only 2200 of them. I would think there are way more than 2200 Master Members overall.

I confirm that there's no subscription, just a single coin wooden box

Quote: I confirm that there's no subscription, just a single coin wooden box so that one, really could be endless, by repeating all the silver dollars design....in this case, producing (minting) many coins with mintage 2200 gives some effect like 10K few coins subscription - over-flood and lost of the value. The first one will be "hyped"....

By subscription I meant there was no way to order the next 56 coins, but they could milked it for like a 36, 37, and so on, but even the RCM knows we are not that stupid.

Did not get an email either probably due to the fact that I don't spend enough. Anyway folks. If the mintage is high enough for everyone to buy, we would complain about it. Now the mintage is about right and we all will complain about it as not many of us purchased enough this year to get the exclusive.

Actually, the RCM do think collectors are stupid because they keep churning out coins like there is no tomorrow and they are still being snapped out by them. Look at the 5 oz colored coins, they are the same coins but just colorized. Didn't stop them from being sold out. Or the $20 for $20, $25 for $25, $50 for $50, $100 for $100, $200 for $200 coins. There are so many of them I lost count. Or the Superman Series. Its like the Energizer Bunny. They keep going and going. The RCM don't care if the coins do well or not on the secondary market, as long as they sell out, that's great. Its quantity that matters to the RCM, not quality.

I'm an MC member so I ordered one.
Then, I called my coin dealer (one of the largest in Canada), and he said he didn't have any available, and I should order from the mint.
Sounds to me like the dealers aren't going to get many if any at all.

When asked, my rep replied with the following:
1) how many coins are planned for the series: Not determined at this time 2) how often are they to be released: once per year is the plan 3) please confirm if a collectors box will be available specifically for the series? I have voiced this in the past and it is not off the table. At the current time, the answer is no.

Seen on ebay posting - looks darn good... I don't see any reason why this won't be vigorously sought out...by MC members and any others if any remain for general release... Unlike 5 oz coins, these are priced far more to most folks budget yet equally well crafted...low mintage...Gold on both sides I'm hearing...and nicer box than 5 oz...

On the ebay and goes very well - the BIN price CAD 279. So I not surprised, the listing created by Coins4Fun - probably fastest RCM distributors. Quote:Seen on ebay posting - looks darn good... In my opinion, the Reverse is very good. Like it suppose to be. Good use of multy-finishes layering. But the Obverse.....it shouldn't be selective, looks ugly. Quote: Gold on both sides I'm hearing Same as (actually, worse) as Nickel set and Big Coins. Better will be, if will be lack of supply, at least something will be sought for.

Quote:I ordered one too. It is already on ebay. Unbelievable. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2015-Canada...AOSwo6lWQNrL If the coin is available to only MC members, how is Coins4us, a well known dealer that jumps the gun on new issues, able to get hold of the coin and sell it? This means some dealers are getting an allotment of coins. So how many is left for MC members?

Quote: This means some dealers are getting an allotment of coins. So how many is left for MC members? According to the Mint: Of the entire mintage of 2,200 coins, 90% have been reserved for Masters Club members—but only for 45 days or until the mintage is sold out.

This coin looks like a beauty. Hope they DON'T release a second set with color (like big coin series).
