Got my fist star note in a couple of months today.

Series 2003 $1
New York
B 09858652*
Complete but some creases

The usual question is it anything special?
Thank you for your time

I would hold on to it but as far as on the market, I dont know that it would command a huge premium. All the ones I find I stash away, and maybe 20 years down the road the collection will be worth something. It seems like the ones that are uncirculated command the better premiums but I might be wrong.

I saved up over 200 in $1 star notes when I worked at the gas station. No one really buys the modern ones unless they are CU. I've been buying gass with them.

As far as the serial number, nothing special. Unless it's in good condition, I would spend it.
