A "Serving the Battlefords Dollar" local token pictured in front of the Battlefords Chamber of Commerce building in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada (which it depicts). Anyone else have some similar photos (e.g. a Lincoln Memorial cent at the actual Lincoln Memorial)? Points will be awarded* based on creativity of the photo's framing, rarity of the object pictured, and obscurity of the location visited. *not really Edited by nalaberong 11/11/2015 12:40 am

I took my 89cc "home" a few months ago to the original Carson City mint (now the Nevada State Museum) and took a pic of her with her "mother", coin press #1, the first press to arrive at the mint when it opened. Who knows if #1 actually struck my 89 but let's say yes

Cool. We could have some real fun with trade tokens and medals.

Here is a coin I love, in my collection (proof silver version)... ...and I have been to this glacier (Kaskawulsh glacier), in the Yukon. But I did not think to carry a coin with me...

I saw a photo in Kompas (Indonesian newspaper) where there was an Rp 1000 bill being held up to the background of Pulau Mattara dan Tidore, with a boat in the exact position. I did take that page out, but I totally forgot where I put it.
This is a cool idea. If I ever will visit Toraja, I'll bring along a 1980 Rp 5000.

I have a photo somewhere with me holding up an older Canadian $20 bill, while standing in front of Moraine Lake in Banff National Park... from a field trip that I ran in 2005... but I can't find the darned photo...

I do like the Yukon one. The glacier and the coin both look good.
