Glad I came across your website. I am from the US and grew in the Chicago area.

I am just getting into coin collecting and maybe some selling need to learn a lot. I really like the wheaties but my husband has been a collector for awhile, his main interest is in the paper money - old time stuff.

I have been very busy trying to learn about coin grading - since I can't afford to have it professionally done. There is much to learn with the grading along with the error coin varieties. I have been using the doubledie.com and LincolnCent Resources website quite a bit.

I am hoping it is okay for me to submit some pics of coins that I need help with. I really need some expert advise.

Right now I will be asking quite a bit, but hopefully down the road as I learn I hope to be able to give back by offering assistance to others.

Coin collecting is turning out to be a lot of fun and tiring (going through the rolls / bags of pennies). I am looking forward to my new endeavor.

I would appreciate any recommendations how to get goods images of my coins - right now I am using a scanner (which can go to 2400 dpi) since the camera I have won't get close enough without the blur.

Thank you advance for all your assistance.

The best oldest coin I have right now is my Indian head.

to CCF and that is a good looking Indian Head but to even consider a grade you would have to show the reverse as well.
