Excuse my ignorance but what is 7-8 ? As far as your 41-D goes I would give it an MS-67RB. Very few tiny hits prevents me from saying MS-68 .

The thing holding this coin back is that hit on the obverse behind the head, it's pretty deep and in an important field. It's the first thing I noticed when I got the coin in hand.... and a professional grader certainly will too. Also, the luster is not there for a 66 by TPG standards, a coin has to really flash to make 66 and up. It has good luster but not explosive.

I graded this MS-65RB...but the grade doesn't matter a whole lot on coin this beautiful!

The number the seller Ray attached to the coin. Ray was fortunate enough to open a genuine OBW roll and find 50 of these....and he was kind enough to sell most of them to collectors on the forums. This Ray roll will live in infamy! A lot of fantastic coins came out of this roll! You can see them all here:
