Pictures can be deceiving at times, but the clash on your coin looks to be a bit higher than VAM 23a. The clash at the wreath on your coin hits the top inner leaf of the second leaf cluster, on VAM 23a it looks like it hits the tip of the second leaf of that cluster. Just another opinion to consider..........

two more pictures that seems to match vam23, but I don't see the obverse clash on vam23.

Slightly different die rotation than 23. Can you post a close up of the mint mark?

VAMming can be very confusing in the beginning but the more you do it the less confusing it becomes. It's always a good idea to begin with the date and mint mark and move out from there. Chasing down an attribution based on clash marks alone can be very time consuming especially on certain dates/ mm's. Welcome to the madness.
