Found this 1955-S Lincoln last week in a wrapped bank roll. Really interesting color. Is this natural toning or a bad mix of the copper bullion? I've never seen one this color before.

My first thought is someone dipped it half way.
Looks kinda cool.

if it where dipped it wouldnt have missing spots like under the E. and there are spots on both sides that are out of place. Was it a BU bank wrapped roll? Was it an end coin?

The neon Lincoln was found in the center of a sealed Wells Fargo bank roll from San Francisco.

May be a ghost image there, too.

I like it!

There are a couple more that have the green neon color on the reverse but not as spectacular as this one. The others just have some traces of the green neon. I will take photos of them and post as Green neon/copper #2 and #3

Probably the roll of you coins was stored exposed to heat. I've seen this color before and it seems to just not be the ones on the ends of the roll.

Hello COOP. That was my guess at first but I have not found another coin of this color to compare to. I have seen rainbow colored, blue, green, purple, pink, orange but all of those coins were multi colored and exposed to heat, moisture or other elements. This coin does not have any other color mixed with the neon green. I would appreciate any reference or example you could provide.
