I have a few N.Z. .500 silver Half Crowns.

Their design allows wear to show up more obviously on the obverse than the reverse.
There are many high points in the design on the reverse that are of the same height above the field. Together, they all help the reverse design to hide wear.
An excellent design by Kruger Gray.

This one VF British grading, perhaps
EF45.
