Had a coin club meeting last night; the owner of the coin shop we meet at had some freebies for the taking. I picked up the 1965 Guide Book. Sure wish I could find those prices today!

Good pickup, reminds one of the "old" days when we were young and wished we had the $$ to pick up the bargains. Of course, in 1965 I was on active military duty and we really didn't have much disposable $$ (monthly pay was $91 per month). Just for nostalgia sake sometimes I pull out an old (1950s) catalog from B.Max Mehl, sure makes one long for those prices.

Nice!

If you think those prices are good then find you a B Max Mehl Coin Catalog from the 1930's.

The problem is few people had any money to spend on coins back then. Everybody was pretty much struggling to get by and keep food on the table. (Sorta like today!)
