No surprise here, except that they didnt start making em earlier...
With a mintage of only 866,000, all that stopped em was the fact that many people overlooked it.

What jumps out to make you guys say fake. I don't have many wheat cents, but I am obviously familiar with them.

Just trying to refine it in my mind and anyone else out there lurking along.


To me the rim seemed wide and the details weak / mushy on the reverse. Anything else jump out for you guys.

Cincy is about a 3 hour drive for me otherwise I'd show him the door myself.

Up here in Browns Country we refer to it as Cincitucky.

It's a stuck counterfeit, I belive... The details are WAY to mushy, not to mention the difference in obverse vs reverse rim size (among other things)
