Hi everyone,

Just want to ask if there is DDO reported for the year 1967.

I suspect one of my 1967 is doubled die in the obverse particularly at the date 1967. I see some spreading/hubbing Maybe I can post a picture tommorow for everybody's appreciation.

Thanks,

noel biscocho

There is a doubled die obverse known for 1967 cents, but it is on a special mint set die.

Most likely yours is Machine Doubling...but we won't know for sure without photos.

There are no mint marks on 1965-1967 coins. No mistake, just wanted to crank out more coins those years and reduce the collectors selection for those years. no mint marks and no proof sets. Just special mint sets those years.

Thanks there Coop for the info, it is not the MM that I'm talking about, I suspect this coin has a doubling in the mint date, I notice some light separation on 967. I'm having trouble in getting a clear picture of the mintyear maybe the lighting. But anyway, I'll experiment again with regards to taking a clear view of the suspected doubling of my 1967 LMC.

I was answering the question brought up in the title of the thread. I noticed it hadn't been covered yet.
