Not sure how long board protocol says to wait before the "reveal," but the 64BN trend here is in agreement with PCGS. Thanks for that comment T-BOP. The blotchiness, if that's a word, varies according to light and angle (nothing unique there, I guess), and the photograph happens to maximize it. I'm actually liking it more the more I look. It flashes some purple, green, and gold in varying conditions. There are a couple of what I think are carbon spots in front of Abe's nose. I think what's above Liberty is a color variation slightly exacerbated by a scratch on an otherwise pretty clean holder. Thanks for the input, everybody. BTW, this coin is part of my humble new quest, which is to get an uncirculated piece from each of the first 20 years of the series. Something about those coins is fascinating to me.
