Here are a few pics of my 49 Hoof with some repunching in the 9 with an extra loop showing inside the loop of that 9, and then an extra loop of a 9 showing on the outside of the 9,.. at 7 to 8 o'clock...

...and a fine d/c starting from the 9 and into the 4..

There is fill in the 4 and then a smaller 4 poking out of the top of the 4,..so is that a 4 over 4..?.

...and do all of the 49 Hoof 50 c have that 4/4..?

I would expect that all Hoof 50 c pieces would have these same RP's ....but would like a 50 c expert(s) to add their take on this.

There is also extra metal in the letters of CANADA
..and a nice d/c from the bust to the rim..

There are fine cracks in the ICCS plastics at the bottom of the 50 c piece..

That's a mighty fine looking coin.... a very late die-state HO/9, since the die chip over the 9 is starting to lose its shape, and the obverse die crack from the bust to the rim is found on the later die state.

Here are a few pics of my 49 Hoof with some repunching in the 9 with an extra loop showing inside the loop of that 9, and then an extra loop of a 9 showing on the outside of the 9,.. at 7 to 8 o'clock...

>>Yes, this is a triple punch 9/9/9....

...and a fine d/c starting from the 9 and into the 4..

>>The die crack 9 to 4 is just starting before the die chip initially forms

There is fill in the 4 and then a smaller 4 poking out of the top of the 4,..so is that a 4 over 4..?.

>>Yes that is a 4/4 and it is visible on the coin before the HO/9 forms. the filling in the top of the 4 forms about the same time that the die chip off the hoof forms.

...and do all of the 49 Hoof 50 c have that 4/4..?

>> Yes.

I would expect that all Hoof 50 c pieces would have these same RP's ....but would like a 50 c expert(s) to add their take on this.

>> The 9/9/9 and 4/4 can be found before the HO/9 die chip forms and remains visible after.

There is also extra metal in the letters of CANADA

>>Again it is found on a later die state.

..and a nice d/c from the bust to the rim..

>>again a feature of a quite late die state.

Nice Hoof over 9, great 9/9/9 and 4/4, with die chip and obverse die crack.
