So I just got home from a short trip to Las Vegas. While I was there I stumbled on an art gallery of Vladimir Kush. I had never heard of the artist, but looking through the window I saw a modern Dali. I went in and looked around and fell in love with the art. On the flight home I was looking through his portfolio and saw this painting called "two birds" which I think every coin collector can appreciate.

I'm gonna call the gallery and see if one is available, because I want it, bad!

Are there any other coin/currency related art items available?

Sure sure. Susan Blunt has an esty shop and makes cameo jewerly that features her portrait of Queen Elizabeth the Second.

I work in an art gallery in a touristy town so I have used old provincial 1 cent pieces in pen and inks of New Brunswick icons.

I have always been fond of this one. It's called "The Collector" by Norman Rockwell.

Next time I do one up I will snap a pic or too. I used that cent you got me as a hanging medal in a "scene of NB" pic. She had a sketch of a Purple Violet.

I want to get some wooden nickels made up for the next "Paint the Heartland" event. If I do I will snag you one.
