I'm not sure on the mint mark, but that sure looks like a small date to me!

That almost looks like a damaged mint mark punch I have seen somewhere. When I get some time I will look into it for you.

It is a small date. I agree with the damaged mint mark punch.

As we know, I am not very good with RPM's. I do have an opinion though. I don't think it's a RPM, it looks like a damaged punch and some wear on the die to me. I do seem to remember small date 70-S's are keepers. Unfortunately I do not remember why.

Wow.. I knew I put it aside for something.. Awesome I totally forgot about the large date small date thing..   I pulled it out of a roll of 1970-s I need to find that might be others.
