It is most likely the brightness or angle of your source light, too much glare on everything. Try using a filter like paper or something similar.

A lights on variety would be cool, but believe the toning from circulation has not yet reached all the deeper crevices. In time it will. Thanks, Doug.

Here are a few more pictures of this coin using various formats like black and white with fade to try to combat the glare. Keep in mind this cent is really bright on the back as it is already thanks
