I've been looking for an upgrade to this year but it's a key date. So, I had to settle for a lower grade to meet my budget. I'm happy with my purchase and broke it out of the PCGS holder.

Opinions on grade and other comments are always welcome. I'll reveal the PCGS grade in a day or two.

Nice example of the 1823/2 overdate., N-1.
Nicely toned surfaces, fairly smooth save for a few small marks above head, and within wreath on reverse.
PCGS probably graded it F12. I would grade the coin VG10 EAC.
