That'll look great in your book! Kudos. I still need one of those & a 1910-S (among a few others). The 1910-S 1914-D & 1909-S VDB currently hold the top 3 spots on my Lincoln hitlist.

Missed this thread, haven't been in the Modern area for a while. Nice grab! Note to self: Save sellers that take lousy pics

Wow, what a great coin! And what commitment struggling down the stairs with the flu to get the coin! It never ceases to amaze me what we'll do to get that coin in hand!

Hey Drew, I would be stoked to own that coin, very nice purchase at a nice price, but what mystifies me is this;
What caused the ever diligent CoinHuntingDrew, who is really into pointing out fakes and usually criticizing the lousy pics as a ploy by the fake sellers to take such a chance on a highly counterfeited coin that had lousy pics?

Quote: take such a chance on a highly counterfeited coin that had lousy pics I don't see the problem with lousy pics. It's easy to tell regardless, for me at least. Nice buy!

Often times I've had the best of luck with terrible pics. The pics were decent enough, or should I say sufficient enough, to tell it was authentic.

Drew, I compliment you on your knowledge and ability to distinguish the authentic from the faked. Once again, great find.
