I would say at least MS64 and MS65 at best but leaning more so to MS64.

I was going to say 65rd. but the other members are probably right about the scratches. Agree 64rd.

A little bit junky above the date.

I'd give it a 64.

Actually my pictures are grossly enhancing that area above t he date. It is not noticeable to the naked eye.

Looks very lustrous, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, I bet the reverse spots are so bad in hand either.

Thanks BadThad... indeed my photo makes the smallest of blemishes seem much worse than they are in hand. It's luster to the max as well you are correct there...

I find it hard to distinguish between 63, 64, 65, 66 on most coins, especially Morgans.

LWCs are my favorites but most of my experience is with circulated coins, so maybe that is a factor.

On this one, looking at the pictures and making a snap judgement, I found it very eye appealing and assigned an MS-66. With looking further and seeing a few flaws, dropped it to a 65 before reading the other member opinions. Seeing all the 64s I am confused and ask what detracts from this coin to make it a 64 and not 65?

I'd agree with the fellas above from my small experience in grading. It's a great piece! Did you find it roll hunting or did you buy it?
