yeah, extreme wear to the obverse.
We call it "thumbed"

Many people are not aware that some people just used to rub a coin under their thumb the same way that people used to "toy" with "worry beads", as they are or were called. Seldom would they rub the reverse so often it was the obverse that was really worn.

It was sometimes a "Good Luck" kinda thing to do.

This is just wear.
