You versus an old ICCS embossed cert..all of the fine bright lines crossing the top ,..her face,..and the field are only on the clear plastic and caught in the light..

..again,..the bright lines across the date are only in the plastic ..

That 1892 was very special ,..so now I do need to get this 1894 down to PCGS.

Any opinions on the grade of this 94 ?

Seems like it would make a nice mate to that great previous 1892..

What a great looking coin! I bet it looks amazing in hand.

MS-64 would be my guess.

It agree it would make a nice mate to that 1892....if you would like to send it along, I'll be very happy to introduce them and send you pictures of the happy couple!

Thanks for the opinions here..It was graded as a 63 way back..
There are no contacts on it..

Now have a look at this quick ICCS example of a "todays MS64".

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1948-Canada...AOSwv0tVDd-9

You can see why I have problems with ICCS . ..and..
"Market Grading"..be damned..

This 10 cent coin should never make a 64 in any time or place by any grader.. It is bagged and battle scarred on both sides and is not a 64..!!..IMO
