Bad picture, toning + taken through 2 layers plastic make it hard to see. Otherwise a rough day at ICCS.

Hmmmmm, not sure about the 'bad pics', doesn't seem to me to be a 64 but what do I know? Too bad it's not feasible for me to submit to ICCS.

If that coin is a MS-64 then, mine must be at least a 67/8..

Sometimes, a heavy patina, and dust particles and scratches on the holder can help to deceive. Another possibility to consider is that another coin has been substituted.
Under the circumstances, I would guess MS62 or 3, but I also understand why others would grade it lower with these pictures.
I always prefer to see a coin 'in hand' for myself. I also appreciate that such is not practicable for some collectors.

It's been handled a lot both before and during/after toning giving the surfaces a really ugly look as some of the toning is disturbed but not all of it. It probably is a technical 64, but it's an ugly one. I refuse to own any "MS" coins that have any sign of fingerprints.

By the looks of it, this photo was taken in pretty low lighting conditions. There also seems to be quite a high number of bag/other marks to qualify as an MS-64. Interestingly, the seller took photos of only the top half of the holder, indicating the grade and not the certification number. Considering the questionable grade and the fact that the seller chose to not share the certification number in any way, I'd bet that if this coin is the original coin for the holder, that the certification number has a 3 letter prefix starting with an X.

Please explain why one would say "the certification number has a 3 letter prefix starting with an X" and what does that signify?

Might just be trying to show how recent the certification was, 3 digit with X has been the last couple years I think. Paccoin probably knows exactly when they went to the X__ ___ format

The 3 letter prefix starting with an X indicates a more recent certification. I was referring to the tendency for more recent certifications to be graded a little less conservatively than they once were.
