Found at goodwill in a key chain. I realized it was real and took off key chain. The front looks high relief awesome but back has crazy glue. Do u have value or is it ruined?

You might want to try an acetone bath. That should loosen the glue/dissolve it. Likely their will be a witness mark to it all, but better than having the glue I suppose. Wait for more input though. I've no experience doing the acetone with silver; I suspect there isn't a problem but you want to be sure.

There is a lot of good information on this site about cleaning with PURE acetone, including how to make sure you have pure acetone.

My question would be: Keep or sell? If I was planning on selling it, I probably would leave it alone and let the next person deal with it. Someone who has experience with the acetone bath routine might get better results than I would.

Nice find!

What is a "witness mark"?

Not a high relief.

Acetone will probably remove the glue.

By "witness mark" I believe he is referring to the fact that there will be a major difference in color/tone between where the glue was and where it wasn't.

Why don't you pay PCGS to restore it? I think it would be worth the money on this one . Better than sending it and having them say you cleaned it

Edit. Never mind I was thinking it was a 1921

I only paid 5 dollars but I took the advise not to mess with it and sell it as is. It's on ebay. I got 19 dollars already. I'm already ahead. Thanks for the info.

Nice find. I probably would have tried to remove the glue with the pure acetone, but your decision is a good one with the bidding as high as it is. I love Goodwill, great place to find treasure.
