Hello everyone from the Great Northwest, Rainier, WA specifically. I'm not new to coin collecting just new to this forum.

I started collecting coins in the mid 80's as hopefully someday something fun to get into with my newborn son. Well, that never worked out. He's 30 now and has never shown interest in collecting coins. But, I do have a nice coin collection anyways.

I mainly collect US coins and have a complete set of all circulating US coins. My prize collection is my complete all MS and Proof Washington quarter collection. I get and have gotten all my coins from either mint or proof set so all are MS coins.

Recently I've gone big time. I'm now starting into the Morgan silver dollars, these wont be coming from mint sets though lol. If anyone has any great insight on the best way or direction to go with this it would be greatly appreciated. I've already purchased some of the more common date and I'm trying to keep them all NGC MS something or other.

Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from some of the other collectors around this site.

Mark

Cilrah: I am new here as well and also collect the Morgans. Get the two albums from Dansco and start filling in the holes! NGC MS will cost alot, I go for well defined hair and eye, usually around 40 bucks. I'll see you on ebay!

Welcome!

If going for just a date set, you'll have an MS reasonably available for most years for $60-100.. Best of luck! As I am sure you've seen, MS CC start in the hundreds. Then there is the whole VAMing passion. Myself, I want anything dated '82.

An all MS Morgan set is quite an ambitious goal! Good Luck! You'll find a lot of Morgan collectors in this forum.
