to CCF!

I don't think this is anything much, it's just seen some circulation. A spender in my opinion.

Half Dollars from 1970 to present day are still circulating, and quite common just not to see in normal change. If you go to any bank they will likely have a few that you can trade for and you can still spend them normally at stores. (I do) Not worth more than 50 cents. the 1976 ones were made for two years so there are more of these than most of the other years making them less likely to go up in value any time soon.

Welcome.

He doesn't show the whole coin but I suspect the obv die was slightly misaligned. An error but such a minor one that it is still just a 50 cent coin.

1971 to date. 1970 halves are still 40% Ag and are quite scarce, especially 1970-D.

There are millions of Kennedy half dollars still circulating, and that includes 1964 to present. Circulating from bank to bank that is, via dumped collections and roll hunters. I can't remember the last time I received a Kennedy half in change, but I know it's been years. I have however handled at least 100,000 of them in this decade alone.

Roll hunting since '77
Dirt fishing since '72
