Looking for help with these Chinese bank notes. Have been offered $200 for the seven varieties. I think that may be low, but I cannot find much information.

I can't help you since I'm very new to world currency but I thank you for posting the pictures. Great looking notes! And it's really fun to say "Twenty Coppers".

Please upload individual picture of both dies, that helps with grading, and is better at finding images online or in books to check their worth.

These are scarce small-commercial issue notes from the 1920s.

I've found a few auction entries. This one for the Yah Kong Bank note from Lyn Knight Auctions in 2009:

Lot # 145 - World Paper Money > China - ($125.00-$225.00)
NL 20 Coppers 1.12.1922
Local oval overprint on face "Yah Kong Cigarette & Tobacco Company/585, 6 Kwangse Road". Unlisted bank.
Grade:Fine/VF Bank: Yah Kong Native Bank

The image of the standing figure which I assume is on the front of the note (as per auction examples) is one of the Daoist gods of wealth, most likely Zhao Gong Ming. The design is taken from Commercial Bank of China notes of 1920.

I also found a listing for a Dong Woo Tai note (not the same note but same issuer) selling for around $1500 at a Champion Auction (Hong Kong).

Value aside, a very fascinating and difficult to find group of notes.

If you send scans of front and back to me (Pornpattana.Beyer at t-online.de) I can identify all notes, give you the appropriate catalog numbers and tell you something about their value. They most probably are all in my 12 volume catalog on Chinese emergency notes issued 1911-1949.
