I have a complete set of South African Half Crowns (2 1/2 Shillings), but none of them quite up to the quality of this one.

I can't see any wear on this one, and only slight scuffing on the King's cheek, has to be some sort of MS grade. Fields appear very good for an MS grade, rims OK, only one small edge bump. Can't see any real lustre, which leaves me a bit curious. Perhaps this picture is a scan, where lustre does not show up very well.

MS63.

I see a near Mint State coin and if I was forced to assign a number it would be based solely on the head, with signs of rubs on cheek, lock of hair just above ear, and hair below the part.

AU-58 but the date side is easily looking MS-63. Since wear doesn't usually happen to only one side, those areas on the head may be flatness of strike.
