You can barely see the s or vdb unless it's magnified and in perfect lighting. I agree there appears to be something there but it's extremely hard to photograph. Report this Post to the Staff
ChildOfTheWheat Pillar of the Community United States 5828 Posts	Posted 12/03/2015 4:13 pm Cant see pics (photo bucket is blocked at school), but I assume that if you cant see the "S" when the coin is only in G-4 then there is no "S". The coin would have to be very far gone in order for that "S" to go away. Report this Post to the Staff
Coinfrog Bedrock of the Community United States 94367 Posts	Posted 12/03/2015 4:44 pm That "S" is probably just random damage. There are only four known obverse dies for the SVDB, and none of the "S" mintmarks tilts to the left. Report this Post to the Staff
