Saw this Buffalo nickel listed on ebay as a 1913-s Type 2. It clearly is not 1913, pretty sure it's 1916 but it's hard to tell. I messaged the seller yesterday to let him know but it's still up and I never received a response. Is there a way to report this listing? Don't want anyone mistakenly buying this coin thinking they are getting a 13-s.

Just hit the report item button and do the usual. I agree it is definitely 1916. either he's clueless or he's attempting to scam people. I'm sure the latter is correct

Why would you be sure, he's got over 13,000 feedback at 99.9% positive? I see no reason whatsoever to be sure he's scamming.

Honest mistake. When I first saw the photos I too thought 1913. I'll message him.

This is definitely a 1916. The 3 in the date 1913 should be of the flat topped style.

I think the guy's just clueless.

Sellers do make mistakes, but any buyer who really looks at those pictures and still thinks it's a 1913-S is at least partially to blame themselves, IMO.

Maybe so, but this is the time of year that people are buying Christmas gifts. A non-collector may unwittingly pick this up for a collector based on how it's listed.

Man, I saved the image and blew it up. Sometimes I look at it and see a 6, sometimes I see a 3.

Bobby it's impossible for it to be a 3. Those have a flat top. The last digit on this coin clearly has a rounded top.
