I'd think it would of have to been in a mixed bag with something like morgans for awhile with a bit of weight on it. NGC AU-55

Definitely looks like bag-mark damage to me.

After a little more thought, it most likely was another Peace dollar standing on edge slightly tilted and packed tight for a number of years.

I wouldn't say typical bag mark, as this particular bag mark appears to have rounded points.

Thanks for taking a look CHD. The shape does have me abit puzzled on what part of another coin did this, if it was another coin.

Appears the culprit coin was tilted towards the top of Libertys head with less pressure towards the bottom so we don't see a full reed impression, only about 3/4.
