Maybe, Rackster. I'm seeing more on this nickel since I posted it. I'm going to take a closer look at the coin.

Ok, I just reexamined it. If you were referring to the columns, I believe they are normal, just a strong strike. I don't know what to think about the anomaly in the doorway.

I think the doorway is what Rackster suspects to be DDR- Doubling of the top of the doorway. Since the oddity is in the middle of the coin the theory doesn't seem so far off from true

Yup, I see what you're saying, Blue. I guess it's too minor to get attributed, but too strong to spend. I suppose I could list it as a "probable, but unlisted DDR". I've just started my ebay account, it's gonna be hard to let a lot of my coins go. I figure I probably won't be able to take them with me when I go, so I opened a dedicated account for the proceeds. That way, my wife won't have to accept pennies on the dollar. No pun intended, but I'm banking on it to one day pay off, (hopefully at least 50 yrs from now). lol When I get there, I'll post some pics.

very cool

the two 2015 Jefferson nickel DDR's so far are of the extra central doorway roof. So sounds like a very good chance it is a DDR

Not a clash:

I'm not seeing this as hub doubling. Looks more like a die gouge/small dent on that area. It is were a DDR, then the design would repeat it shelf in other areas, not just one.

Coop, how does the Homestead quarter or 2009 cent doubling work then? Those are usually 1 thing in the middle of the die is doubled and nothing else is phased.

Is this it? 2015-P DDR-001 ?

I appreciate everyone's input. I found the 2015 DDR, it is parallel, well defined, and alongside the "header" in the doorway. My 2014 here, is very much different. You guys are very knowledgeable, but Coop is the expert we all go to. If he said it was a quarter, I would believe it... (almost).

Yea, I meant I don't know why I thought your 2014 nickel was a 2015 when I remember checking yours for the year :P
