http://www.ebay.com/itm/16190997096...RK:MEBIDX:ITSeller had it up for $4.75, which would come out to about $3 apiece after shipping (which is less than my LCS charges, as they usually charge 13x compared to this 12x). Threw an offer of $4 and they accepted it. So essentially, after doing some math, I got it for 10.48x face, $2.62 apiece in the end. Right one is dateless with what appears to be a burn spot on the reverse? The left one is a partial, a 1929 or a 1928, but still isn't worth much more then junk silver price and I'll leave it that way when I go to sell it. Edited by CoinHuntingDrew 12/07/2015 12:03 am

Hey Drewster, are you collecting SLQs or just stacking silver? You did okay here, but wouldn't it make more sense to buy one better coin than two dateless? know it's tough to wait - when I was your age, if it was brown and round and had a date, I'd be cool with it. Not so much any more. You've got time! BTW, what made you change your goal from grader at NGC to PCGS?

If I were you, I'd look through coin dealer's junk bins for silver at shows, shops, and even flea markets.

You never know what you might find. I traded some Roosevelt silver dimes in for 10 quarters, and found a 1909!

I was stacking silver back in 2003-4 when it sold for about $7.00 an ounce. Low price for silver and gold is a relative term. Low compared to what? If it were me I would buy the SLQ's with good dates especially those before 1925.

Michio - look at my channel. You'd notice I've been doing that for years! I scored a 1932 S washington for $3.25 lol.

I know that either way it's not a valuable coin, but I feel like the SLQ on the left looks like it barely reads as a 19*8 date, I think reckon either a 1918 or 1928. Any way you look at it, I say nice pickup! Deals like that on silver take a lot of effort to find on ebay, at least for me.
