1851/81 large cent -- Newcomb 3, R1. F15 sharpness, net G5. LDS. Severe rim damage, some porosity. The die file lines are diagnostic and this is the only die pair for the inverted date.

Reverse has damage to the word CENT, the broken top of the "E" does not appear even on LDS/TDS coins. Looks like PMD, or perhaps corrosion.

I figured it out its not 51/81 its the N-20 R-3
