I know this coin is damaged and probably cleaned, but I'd just like your opinions on it. There seems to be something going on with the mintmark.

Not sure of the diagnostics on a 24-D. could be RPM ?

I couldn't find any listed RPMs, but I suppose it's possible.

I find it hard to believe someone would fake a coin in that condition, maybe one in mint state, but not one that is highly worn, damaged and cleaned....genuine.
