I was putting some wheat in slips and I found this it will flips out then back
1st for me to find this type die crackbut soon it will brake off it its played with to much.

Well...it's not a die crack, is it? It's a strike through that's coming off, I think. Not my strong suit, for sure.

It's called a lamination or delamination error. The metal flakes up or off because of impurities in the alloy

Dont mess with it. It is more interesting to error people with the piece still attached. If you play with it, it will break off.

Still very common on coins of this era.

Its not a strike through error.

My fault. I thought "strike through" was the wrong term, even as I hit send. Oh well, live and learn.
