First thing confirm the weight and diameter which should be ~16.7g and ~26.8mm. It looks genuine and around AU50 or so with possibly cleaned surfaces.

AU-53 and appears to be genuine. Too hard to tell from these photos if the coin is cleaned or the lighting is bad.

Lighting makes it the surfaces look lifeless and cleaned. Or the coin could be cleaned.

I agree AU55 may have been cleaned which would affect the collector value but not the metal value

I'll just throw it out there and say that's actually near impossible to tell anything other than the conditions of the relief from these pics and even that is questionable. Have your mate take better pics, less blurry and different lighting.
