It is on Netflix about a couple of British metal detectorists. It is a sit com I guess. kind of interesting show.

Hmmm no I haven't but I'll tell you what, that new format on Diggers with the "archeologist" and "drone opperator" is lame. I can't watch it now. It's become boring just like the real thing lol. I heard they were getting pressured by the archeologist saying they're not doing it right and the producers caved in fear of being cancelled. Well now with a lame format it will be.

Is "Detectorists" better?

I miss that "American Digger" with the ex wrestler that would research areas and knock on doors. That was a fun one nomatter how "rigged" it may have been

I have never seen Diggers. it sounds like a reality show, Detectorists is a scripted show. more of a drama/comedy about people who detect and the clubs than a reality show

YES! That was a GREAT show!

BOOOOMMMMM BABY!!

Anyways, to answer the OP's question: I only watch "Diggers" now, although I guess I will give "Detectorists" a try!

I wish I could get Netflix but I'm already paying $400/mo. for 100 Gigs of data through AT&T, so not a lot of streaming done here.

'Diggers' is a bit entertainging, but I get tired of all the buttons and bullets dug. My finds every year blow theirs out of the water.

It's really a show about two guys frendship, who just happen to be metal detectorists. Series one probably has slightly more detectoring in it. Its a fantastic show, completely devoid of car chases, and violence, though there is some swearing.
Rest in Peace

I just watched the first six episodes. Excellent series.

The small town, local club situation is spot on!
