I've been searching like mad through nickel box after nickel box and have found 0 buffalo's and 0 V nickels. How you guys come across these is beyond me. I've found a couple 2010's and 2009's the other day though, and I seem to average at least 1 War Nickel per box. I think I enjoy searching through nickels more than halves tbh.

Keep looking Deltron - I was quite surprised by how common buffaloes are. I'm in a buffalo drought right now but my spread sheet still says I'm pulling one every 140 rolls. V nicks are a different story. None of those yet.

Excellent new for everyone's great finds. Congrats Yinzi on the 2nd complete set ..... and to Deltron for your first wild buffalo ..... always a thrill to find one of those beauties roaming amongst the Jefferson herd. My fun find for the day is coin it took me a while to figure out ...... in a USA roll today was this 1962 Bern Mint Swiss 20 Rappen ...... mintage 30,145,000, Cu-Ni alloy. The coin is 21mm diameter and had a mintage weight of 4.20 grams. First every 20 Rappen for me ...... I see CND has bagged 11 as of his 18,000 roll update. Photos ... It's amazing the variety out there in nickel rolls. Enjoy your searches David

Thanks, Rollhunter, Dylansdad, Deltron, and Nickelsearcher!
Rollhunter, I prayed the Nickel godness for you!
Deltron, congrats on your first Buffalo! The V-nickel is next!
Nickelsearcher, the swiss 20 rappen is very pretty! I've found 3 of them. One being proof.

Two thumbs up on your box finds. You've found more Liberty "V" in that box than I have in 200,000 rolls searched ...... way to go I say. What country is that 20 pence from? David

Thanks. There are some legible letters in LIBERTY on the dark one, I'm just afraid to clean it.
The 20 pence is from England. It's the second one I've found so far.

The 20 pence is British. I've found 3 or 4 in nickel rolls even though they are 7 sided. Go figure.
