whecht New Member United States 18 Posts	Posted 07/23/2011 12:13 am 1942-D I just went through a box and found 73 1942-D One of them was XF and the rest were G to VF. Found some other semi key dates too. They weren't all in one roll. I found more 1942-d than all the other pre 57 coins. 57d, 58d and 59d are almost too common to talk about. If I am right this is box 22, which means that I am 24/22 silver count. A lot worse than I used to be. This box was probably one of the best I'd ever had, lots of cool stuff. Anyway here goes: no silver 1-dateless buff-I will have to soak it in vinegar with the other one I have no hole fillers however....drum roll please...(epic music) 1927 Canadian nickel in EX40!! This was the last thing I expected to find and I now have a new thing to look for! I'll post a pic tomorrow. sich0015 Valued Member United States 255 Posts	Posted 07/26/2011 01:33 am I just finished a Brinks box. 38 pre 1960 including 5 buffalos, 3 V nickels and a 1941 large s with what appears to be a very minor clip on the rim. Hopefully I can post pictures soon. This was a fun box. Buffalos: dateless s mint, 1914s restored date, 1928 d partial date, 1926, and 1913 type 1. V nickels: 1910, 1907, and I think I can see 1889 but I'm not sure-this thing got in a fight with some acid a long time ago. It might be 1886. My Brinks box of cents from a different bank had a 1907, 1909 V.D.B, and a 1911d. Six 100+ year old roll finds in one day=BEST CRH DAY EVER! Report this Post to the Staff

The nickels and cents were from two separate banks and I pick up at each fairly frequently. Here are the pictures. I think the last V nickel is an 1889 but it's not clear. Anyone else think they know what it says? The 1941 large s is a rare find and I think that is a clip by the ER in LIBERTY but it is more like a sliver. Report this Post to the Staff
