I find a lot here in Fort Worth also.
It seems though the more Canadian nickles I find the better the box for war nickles and others.

I have never done a comparison before on the correlation of the number of War Nickels found and number of Canadian nickels found in a box, that might be something fun to track.

I would concur on two fronts...both nickels and cents. Invariably the more Canadian coins I get in the box the better U.S. coins I find.....I have been paying attention to this since day 1 and it has yet to let me down.....I get all smiles when I see lots of Canadian coins in my rolls!

Talking about Canadian nickels I just got a 1933 George V tonight. First hole filler for a while. Also got 3 George V cents this week. All from different sources. Cents from Brinks, nickel from CWR. I put all my Canadian aside and will use it to take a trip up there this summer. Having trouble with my microscope camera so no pics yet.

Halfhunter you paid a buck for the 1885 and 1886 Liberty nickels? That is awesome.

I searched one box of nickels a few weeks ago. I found one silver War Nickel from Philadelphia. I also found one 1996P that is missing the 1 and the first 9 is very faint. It is not PMD as everything else is perfect surrounding it and there are no scratches.
