I haven't been searching for that 1990 variety. I wonder if I tossed any back.

1940 x4
1941 x2
1946 x1
1947 x1
1948 x1
1949 x1

1956 x3

1959 x3

1985 Canadian 5 cents
19? Buffalo

Silver 1942S

Other S: 1969S x2, 1970S x3

Other nickels: CWR 6 rolls of the Lewis and Clark, 2 full BU rolls of each design. I think it was one Denver roll and one Philadelphia of each design but it's very late. Will check and update accordingly later. Too tired to look right now. My mind is too tired to be sure....lol. Once I had asked for the box of nickels the tellers were all very excited. They love coin collectors at that office. They told me I had just missed a roll of silver dimes. An older gent had cashed them in and then the next guy in line had seen them and bought them. However, they told me about another teller who has some special mint wrapped pennies, nickels and dimes. Unfortunately, he is on vacation until next week and they are in his drawer locked away until he gets back. They gave me the branch phone number and I also left him a personal note to contact me asap to make arrangements to buy them off him. Very interested to see exactly what these are. Additonally, I got some loose nickels in pristine condtion that have the newer Buffalo design on the back (2004?). They had some halves in open wrappers (white and yellow. No silver but enough BU of 1996 and also 2000 to make a few rolls. Last, but not least, I got a BU full roll of NIFC 2005P halves still in the plastic container! They have never been run through a coin counter or sorter. So beautiful a shine it almost hurts to look at them. The edges so crisp and orangy. Have never seen anything better in a coin.

It was like something like.... "oh, you love to collect coins?" and then they brought out all the treasures they had at their branch. I was on cloud nine! Still am! I still have box #5 of nickels left to sort! And I still don't have a clue what the other mint wrapped coins are going to be. They didn't know what year or design just that they came in special designed mint wrappers. A friend of mine has agreed to pick them up and ship them to me since I plan to be in Garner Sunday night and these will not be available until Tuesday. So I will have to wait until Friday before I get to see them...... Oh I really hate to wait!......lol. The suspense is killing me!

Box 64 (customer wrapped rolls - for a change): Found a small Cud on a 1960D and posted it in the error section: https://goccf.com/t/113949.

I also found 2 new foreign coins for my collection. A Great Britain 6 pence from 1964 and a 5-cent piece from Aruba. Both are smaller than our nickels.

I really have to get cracking on some more boxes because I am way behind some nickel searchers on here!

I love reading about everyone's finds. Rachums, great find on that V nickel. I haven't gotten one of those yet!

Here were my next two boxes. Got a few War Nickels and some hole-fillers so I am happy. Only 12 more to go!

Box #11 wasn't too nice to me. Only had a handful of keepers. This was easily my worst box so far. Box #12 made up for it though!

Nickel Box #11
1x 1939-P
1x 1940-P
1x 1941-P
1x 1942-P
1x 1946-D
1x 1948-P
1x 1953-D
1x 1957-P
1x 1958-D
1x 1959-P

Nickel Box #12
1x dateless Buffalo
1x 1939-P
1x 1940-P
1x 1940-S
1x 1943-S (war, hole filler)
1x 1944-D (war, hole filler)
1x 1952-P
1x 1953-P
2x 1956-D
3x 1957-D
2x 1958-D
1x 1959-P
1x 1959-D

Rachums, I have read through some of your posts and tried the vinegar method of showing the date as well. How long did it take you for a date to show up, and do you have any pics of nickels which this has worked for?

Thanks!
