I went through 5 rolls tonight and got 2 War Nickels - a 1944S and a 1945P! Both were hole-fillers as well. Now only 27 left to find to complete the album - plus the 2012s.

Went through a box tonight. Found 6 40's and 8 50's. No silver. I did find my first ever V nickel. It's a 1900 in really bad shape but still neat to find a coin that's 112 years old. Also half way though a box of Dimes with nothing found. My 4 year old daughter got about a 1/3 of the way through a box of cents before momma made her go to bed. She found 4 wheat cents so far :) One was an ender, which was pretty neat. More importantly, she's happy to have her own coins to look at. Owassokie

Qwassokie, got to love it when the little one get hooked.
My grandson has saved rolls of 2010 & 2011 pennies. "Might be worth something when I get to be your age Pap".

I just went through a bag. There were not many pre 1960. However I find a 1982 rotated reverse, a clipped planchet and a 1988 D with Lathe lines. Sort of an odd bag.

I would think that you are either missing them or have not searched enough if you have not found a rotated reverse Jefferson. Probably about a month ago I found two in one bag. See picture below. I know I have more elsewhere. I found a 1995 that was off right at 180 degrees, but it is not in the photo.

Well I gave in guys, I bought my last 4, 1950d, 38d,s, and 1939 d. Think I'm done searching nickels,I have uped my weekly halve boxes, and will focus on them and some dimes. I'm not done with my jefferson set yet. I need to buy some nice War Nickels for my dansco, they just dont look good, with all the other nice coins in there. Here are my total stats from my 31 box run. My 31 box total was 27 silver War Nickels, 18 buffalos, zero shield, zero liberty. In addition to the full album of nice coins, IV acquired 1.50 of super nice 5 step nickels in a tube, from 1970 and earlier, mostly 1960's with some 50's, and a 1947, and a real gem 1963, that should be slabbed one day. Its been fun doing these, Ill be back to my nickels to buy the nice war ones, and someday, buy the rest of the shields I need to complete my full nickel run, from shields forward, also need to buy a 1912 S liberty someday.
