Tonight's box was really good. We found:
1948s 1942d 1928 buffalo 1920d buffalo a dateless buffalo
We don't remember ever getting more than one buffalo in a box. These were not CWRs.

Got another attempt at a War Nickel. Found a 1977 with the P counter stamped on the back. I will get some pic's posted. This is the second find.

I'd be pretty upset if I found a 1977 that nice only to flip it over and see the counterstamp.
For whatever reason, it seems nearly impossible for me to find several dates from the 70s in BU. I've found a handful of 30s, 40s, 50s, and all the 60s dates in pristine condition, but I have yet to find any such examples of 1975-1980 Philadelphia nickels.

All of my 60's are in great condition. however I'm still looking to upgrade my 1971 and 1976, which aren't in the best shape.

Probably will leave it alone. I wonder how much of the wear occurred after the carving?
I actually found three total buffaloes in that particular box, which is the most I think I've found.

I found a Buffalo nickel for the first time in about two to three months. The date is nearly gone, but it looked to be a 1916D, and the best part is I only bought $4 worth of nickels at the bank, both machine rolled.
