Yes, it is. There is no need to acid date type one (Buffalo standing on a raised mound, rather than a plain), as type one was issued solely in 1913. Type 2, where the Buffalo stands on a plain, was issued from 1913 - 1938. Congratulations on a very nice find.

robuddo-I lost my camera cord but I am trying to find it.. I took the pics already. anyhow the mirror fields on the proofs are very worn, but still have a certain finish, the same I saw on the 1957 proof I pulled a while back. I'm pretty sure the 1952 belgium is made of copper/nickel since it sounded just like a US nickel

I apologize if the formatting didn't work out as planned, I tried to put them in columns, but from the preview it didn't look like it worked well.

Since I can't get "Boxes" I just go to lots of different banks and get 10 rolls from each one, usually not 5 banks to make a box but 6 banks, it's like the baker's dozen of boxes. For whatever reason, that number works best into my schedule, so I stuck with it. I'm going to update my finds on the forum though it will be every 60 rolls.....which is about a 2 day process.

I'm trying to put together 2 albums for my two little boys, so yeah even though I have 2 holes left for the completed set, they each have 4 holes left in their albums, it's a pretty slow, but exciting process!
