Quote: all these buffalos, I want some! LOL! The funny thing is that when I looked through the inspection holes in the bottom of the box I thought they were all new. I would have taken them back to the bank if I didn't inspect them closer.

Quote: I feel like finding Buffalos isn't too bad right now. The last two boxes have been really good. I wish that there were more with dates on them but they are still cool to find.

Did $30 hoping to get another buffalo or some hole fillers for my Jefferson folder, but instead I got something just as good if not better. Two proof Jeffersons! 2001-S 2005-S Westward Journey Buffalo

Some pics from $136 in nickels today. Random number - One box and another bank only had $36. 3 War Nickels and the oldest Canadian Nickel I've had (1950) plus 2 foreigns. Sorry for the less than perfect pics - still working on perfecting my camera work.

Finished a box today. Added a 1954S to a new collection I'm building. Bunch of 1938, 39, 40, 41, 46 etc plains. Nothing too exciting. Most interesting find was a fake 1950 D. Someone took a '59D and did a pretty good job of rounding off the tail of the 9. To the naked eye it looked pretty close to an even circle. Under the scan the missing tail reappeared. No War Nickels and no 2009's from either mint. Bunch of nice looking 2012 P's.

Nice job on finding those 3 War Nickels! It usually takes me at least $100 searched to find one of those. Also liking that Canadian one and the foreign coins. Never found a George VI nickel before. Good job

In the last week we did 2 boxes. Numerous finds from 38-59. One proof, 1975. A 45P and 44D. And a 36 Buffalo. Thats like the 5th or 6th Buffalo we have found. Going to have to increase the number of boxes we do. Now, out of those boxes, my son also found half a tube of 38-59s. A 2009, which is only the second from the boxes and his first War Nickel, a 43P. So a pretty good last couple of boxes.
